My daughter asked me for Poppy Playtime coloring pages last Tuesday. Right in the middle of making dinner. She had that look, you know the one. The “I need this right now or the world ends” look.
So I went looking online. And honestly? Most of what I found was kind of boring. Just characters standing there. No action. No fun. Nothing that would keep a kid interested past the first few crayon strokes.
That’s why I made these.
These Poppy Playtime coloring pages are different. You’ll find Huggy Wuggy peeking from conveyor belts. CatNap chasing butterflies. The player actually running from Mommy Long Legs. Real scenes from the game, not just generic portraits.
There are 36 pages total. Six different themes. Factory exploration, GrabPack action, Smiling Critters adventures, new characters from the later chapters, puzzle scenes, and even some creepy-cute moments of the toys just living their best factory lives.
The outlines are thick and bold. No tiny fiddly bits that drive kids crazy. Just big, open spaces that are actually fun to color. If you’re new to printing pages at home, I’ve got a full guide on how to print coloring pages the right way so you don’t end up with blurry lines or paper that buckles
My youngest colored three of them yesterday and didn’t ask for screen time once. That’s a win in my book.
You’ll find the full set below.

TIPS FOR COLORING POPPY PLAYTIME PAGES
Go Dark on Huggy
That blue is important. Go for a deep, rich navy or dark royal blue. Don’t use light blue or he won’t look scary. My son used light blue once and said he looked like a “friendly cookie monster.” We fixed it with a darker color.
Make Those Pipes Pop
The factory scenes have lots of pipes and machinery. Use silver and gray for the metal parts. But throw in a bright red valve wheel here and there. It breaks up all that gray and makes the page look finished.
CatNap’s Purple Game
For CatNap, think purple. But not just one shade. Use a darker purple for his body and a lighter one for his tummy. That little contrast makes him look more like the actual character. My daughter figured this out and now she’s the CatNap expert in our house.
GrabPack Colors Matter
The GrabPack has that yellow and blue thing going on. Don’t mix them up. Yellow on the hand itself, blue on the wrist part. I messed this up once and the whole gadget looked wrong. Learn from my mistake. Not sure which coloring tool to grab? Here’s a breakdown of and when to use each one.
Keep the Background Simple
These pages have backgrounds for a reason. But don’t go crazy with them. One or two colors for the factory walls. Maybe a brown for the crates. Too many background colors and the character gets lost. Trust me on this one.
Poppy’s Dress is Red
I know it seems obvious. But that red is what makes Poppy stand out. Use a true red, not pink or orange. And if you want to be fancy, color her hair a warm brown. That’s how she looks in the game.
Try Markers for the Monsters
Crayons are great. But markers really make the dark colors pop. Huggy’s blue looks so much richer with a marker. Just put a piece of scrap paper behind the page first. Markers bleed through. Ask me how I know. If you’re weighing whether to color on paper or a screen, I wrote about and what each one is actually good for
CONCLUSION
Well, that’s the set.
All thirty-six pages are ready for you to print and color. No sign-ups. No email lists. Just click and go.
I made these because my kids love Poppy Playtime. And I figured other parents out there probably have kids who love it too. The game is creepy, sure. But these pages tone that down. They keep the fun parts and lose the parts that give kids nightmares.
Well, mostly.
My oldest still won’t color the Prototype page. Says it gives him the creeps. That’s fine. More pages for his little sister.
If you’re looking for something specific, check the themes. The Smiling Critters pages are great for younger kids. The puzzle and chase scenes work better for older ones who know the game. And the GrabPack pages? Those are just cool. Even my husband wanted to color one.
Here’s the thing. You don’t have to be good at coloring. That’s not the point. The point is sitting down with your kid for ten minutes. Talking about Huggy Wuggy or CatNap or whatever they’re into. Letting them pick the colors and make the choices. If you’re a teacher looking to use coloring pages in the classroom, I’ve got some ideas for classroom coloring activities that might help.
They’ll remember that.
So print a few pages. Grab some crayons or markers. And make a mess. That’s what the kitchen table is for anyway.
